Will you ride with me?
First time at the Los Angeles Haunted Hayride. We went for my boyfriend's birthday on Halloween. Probably one of the best "rogue" Halloween attractions in LA. If you haven't yet, you should check it out next year. They turn an abandoned, old zoo area into the route of the hayride with all sorts of circus freaks, creepy clowns, and the worst gigantic scary dudes with chainsaws. The production of the hayride surprised me completely. It was definitely worth my $35 bucks. They also have a show that is not only a bit creepy, but cheesy funny. Who doesn't like cheesy funny things on Halloween? How could I forget they serve pumpkin pancakes, that I did not try, but they have also have buttery popcorn and fried apple slices (the best). And lastly and most importantly the incredibly scary maze. Its not the same kind you go through at the theme parks Halloween events, but a true maze, where you've gone through the same corner twice, and the walls all look the same, and you can't figure your way out and you desperately want to so bad. (Save the maze for last)
